Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman

Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman is a book that was recommended to me by a therapist that I was talking to about my life and at the end of the conversation this book was recommended. I had been to many therapist by now in my life and this was the first time a book was ever recommended to me to read, so that was a good thing. I bought the book and went through it fairly open minded and by the end I learned a few things about myself and find it a good book to recommend to others sometimes. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Think and Grow Rich should be considered a fundamental read in elementary school, and revisited at the high school level, and mandatory read mid college. I think that this book here has very basic information and self examinations that everyone should incorporate in their day to day lives. I am reading this twice, just as I finished reading it once, I just resumed to the beginning again to skim...GREAT BOOK. Type of Book: lifestyle, philosophy, educational, self help, career path Overall rating: 10/10 Time to Read: 3 weeks to digest at a steady rate. 6 weeks to really take in the information and apply it.
